A hotel search in Paris can be overwhelming. There are far more options than you can ever check into. I prefer to stay in boutique hotels over large chain hotels. A small, stylish hotel, usually located away from the main touristy areas of a city. Where the focus is on the details. From the personalized service to the cocktail hour and definitely the décor. Those highly stylized spaces often themed, are ahead of the curve on design trends. But which are the very best boutique Paris hotels?

For those wanting to know which are the best hotels in Paris, use this curated list. I’ve done all the research to source the best boutique hotels in Paris to stay at.

  1. What a great list of boutique hotels in Paris! I absoulutely love staying in stylish places. But to be honest, most of the time I choose budget hotels and spend money on food and sightseeing. But in the rare cases I go for a more upmarket accomodation, I spend a lot of time in the hotel room and just enjoy the luxury of it.

  2. On all of our past stays in Paris, we have found great boutique hotels to stay. We loved being right in the neighbourhoods and living a bit like locals. This is a great list of options by arrondissement to keep for future planning. I love the variety in the services offered even at such smaller hotels. And the very different designs of the options you have selected. Now I just need to get Paris back on the travel planning board!

  3. There are so many beautiful accommodations in Paris! this is a fantastic list of boutique hotels! My pic would probably be Tinah Paris, Reaumur. Waking up in that room with that view must be simply spectacular! Thanks for sharing this fantastic list!

  4. This is just one of the many beautiful things about Paris. No one building is ever the same and each one has its own unique twist. These little boutique hotels are so cute and picturesque, I love it!

  5. Ooh so many pretty hotels, with maybe the best pillow collection between them I’ve ever seen. It’s always difficult finding a nice boutique hotel that doesn’t cost a fortune so really nice to see at least a couple of reasonably priced ones in here too

  6. I’m heading to Paris for the first time in September and wish I would have seen this before we booked at a large chain! I’ll save this and check out a boutique hotel in Paris next time!

  7. I love staying in boutique hotels when I travel, and these all look incredible! I want to visit them all, but first on my list is definitely Hôtel de Joséphine Bonaparte, it is so beautiful!

  8. I prefer staying in boutique hotels instead of chain hotels as well. I love the windows and views at the Tinah Paris, Réaumur – Montorgeuil.

  9. Wow! These are great places to stay. Love how simple and classy is Maison Armance. Will keep them in mind should we have a chance to visit. Happy to know that they’re just steps away from the Tuileries Garden.

  10. I’m so going to pin this post! Boutique hotels are my absolute jam (sorry for the rather cheesy expression) but this gets me super excited. They are so me and a big part of my travel budget. I prefer boutique over chain hotels and love the individuality and style. Also happy to pay more ££ if the hotel is quirky and unique. Tinah Paris here I come!

  11. We live in France so we’re all for anything boutique especially if it supports locals rather big conglomerates. Love this curation of hotels you’ve done. Also appreciate it’s segmented into different price ranges. Will def bookmark this for our trip to Paris which happens often!

  12. This is by far one of the best lists of Paris hotels… Love the way you have clubbed them by areas. It beats all those lists that have the hotels listed randomly. Well done with the details too

  13. A very comprehensive list of so many stylish and captivating hotels in Paris. Every one has it own unique charm so I would be hard placed to chose one over the other.
However I adored the elegant white/grey colour scheme amd allusion to the 1920’s of Hotel Armance.
It must have taken a while to gather all the info on so many of these hotels, thanks for theinfo.

  14. Just got back from Paris a few weeks ago. I typically stay in apartment style accomodations, but had I come across your list, I think I would have reconsidered. The photos are so inviting and make we want to get back on the plane.

    1. You’ll have to add it to your return trip. I too like an apartment rental, but often spend either the first or last night in a boutique hotel. They are such a great experience, especially in Paris.

  15. Boutique hotels are such an experience anywhere. Thanks for this great curated list. Our timeshare, however, has a small Hilton place at the last Metro stop. We love this location that has two markets a week and feels like a real home.

  16. What I also like about boutique hotel is that you don’t see too many guests. All these look beautiful and got personal touch to satisfy guests. I really like the vibrant room in Hotel Crayon in 1st Arrondissement. It gives life feeling to the guests.

  17. I prefer boutique hotels over big brand hotels, too – and when I look at this selection of lovely places to stay in Paris, it confirms to me why they are so much better! Each one of the boutique hotels you showcase offers its own variation of “chic”m but if I had to pick one, my favorite would be Hotel du Petit Moulin. Just stunning! Bookmarking for future reference!

  18. I love that you broke this up by neighborhood. That’s so convenient based on what folks want to be near and focus on seeing. And I love the boutique hotel experience. I’m sure it’s fabulous in Paris!

      1. This is by far one of the best lists of Paris hotels… Love the way you have clubbed them by areas. It beats all those lists that have the hotels listed randomly.

  19. These all look so beautiful, yet unique and not cookie-cutter. I love how you’ve grouped them by location as well, so you can better plan where you want to stay in Paris.
