Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and we learned a lot. Great walking distance- you feel like you’re covering a lot, but you don’t feel rushed at all. It was very nice as an American to have our guide lead us through into Saint Chapelle and Conciergerie so we didn’t have to navigate it ourselves. I recommend this tour!

3. Sainte Chapelle Concert
On one of my many trips to Paris, I attended a classical concert at Sainte-Chapelle, and it was a truly magical experience, not to mention a romantic one.
The stained glass windows, softly glowing candelabras, and perfect acoustics created an ethereal atmosphere as I listened to the string quartette. The beautiful setting made it an unforgettable night.
Instead of rushing on a tour, I was able to appreciate the stained glass windows which depict over 1,000 biblical scenes. The chapel itself features two levels: the lower chapel, which served the palace staff, and the upper chapel, designed for the king and his close circle.
I couldn’t stop staring at the blue ceiling decorated with golden fleurs-de-lis, symbols of French royalty, but equally I was in awe of the heraldic floor tiles.
I got my Sainte Chapelle concert tickets through Euromusic Productions.
