  • This is Praia do Camilo, in the beautiful Algarve. You descend a long wooden staircase of almost 200 steps to this small, beautiful beach. Secluded by the amazing rock formations of Ponta da Piedade, it protects the beach against waves from the southwest. It is why the sea here is very calm. The water is quite shallow, clear and almost translucent with this magnificent blue-green colour. Praia do Camilo consists of two small beaches that are connected through a cave hole tunnel. This was one of our favourite beaches of the Algarve. Anyone else hate to see the end of summer?   • The Ciamberlani House was built by Paul Hankar for the Italian artist Albert Ciamberlani in 1897. Hankar and Ciamberlani collaborated on the design and details of the house. The facade combines elements of ironwork, bricks, and natural stone all classic elements of Art Nouveau architecture. One of the most remarkable details about this building is the amazing sgraffito on its facade - can you notice the sunflowers and seven medallions themed around the Labors of Hercules.   • Brussels is well-known for its Art Nouveau architecture. Between 1890 and 1910 there were more than 1,000 buildings from private homes to public spaces built in this style in Brussels. This is the Cauchie House, designed by architect Paul Cauchie in 1905 for his personal residence for him and his wife who was an artist. What makes this house unique is the golden art mural on its façade with the inscription 'Par nous, pour nous' or 'By us, for us.'
